NMCC Noteworthy News 4/21

Happy Easter Weekend! I've been enjoying my spring break w/a "staycation" since returning from NYC. Grateful to be house/pet sitting for our friends and their fur babies on the lake. However, the days are going too fast! 

Before HOPPING into Monday's rehearsal, here are a few things to "take note":

TICKETS & HELP W/PROMO

Our show is right around the corner, so we need your help promoting within our community! Attached is the concert flyer and the ticket form for you to please share! If you are able, please share the flyer on your social media!

For TICKETS: Print out the form, fill it out and bring cash or a check to a rehearsal. You will be given physical tickets for these purchases.  The final date to purchase advance tickets is our final Monday rehearsal on May 12th.  

For credit card purchases, please go online and purchase them at: 

https://www.nmccsings.org/events.  Select the Buy Tickets button for the day you'll be attending, click the RSVP button to be taken to the form.  Please note there is a $1.25 service fee for each ticket. Select the quantity and click the Checkout button.  Enter your name and email and payment information. Your tickets will be emailed to you.  If you have any questions please see Lisa Ricci or Marci Langan.

NEW REHEARSAL TRACKS have been posted for "Look to the Rainbow" and "Light of Grace" (full recording is on the set list)

The SET LIST has also been updated.

SMALL ENSEMBLE UPDATE: We will no longer include a small ensemble for Celtic Fantasy (NO Celtic Dance or Glocca Morra)

PERFORMANCE ATTIRE: Please refer to last week's email which is posted under CHORUSPONDENCE on our member page. Some of you asked if I have any personal connection to the "Campbell" clan and I do not. I was just looking for a color palette that worked well for shades of blue and green! Please be sure your colors fit with the palette, and if you're not sure, bring your top in and ask someone on the show committee. This attire should be ready for the Bailey's Glen performance on 5/4, as well as our others on 5/16 & 18. 

For Memorial Day performance at the CAIN CENTER we will wear red, white, or blue tops or skirt/dress of appropriate length, w/coordinating neck ties or accessories, and black pants.

MORE SINGERS STILL NEEDED (especially tenor/bass) for Bailey's Glen on Sunday 5/4 & Memorial Day 5/26! Please see the sign-up sheet on the table Monday night.

REHEARSAL ATTENDANCE: Please come to rehearsals unless you have an illness or family situation that cannot be avoided. We continue to have imbalanced sections on Monday nights and we have 2 rehearsals!!!! before Bailey's Glen & 4!!! before our big performances!  We may add in an extra rehearsal or extra time to upcoming rehearsals depending on our needs.

Speaking of rehearsal---see you Monday night at HUMC unless you are traveling!
