Noteworthy News 1/26

Hi there everyone!

It was great seeing some friendly faces and some new smiles last week at our Meet & Greet. I know it was a tricky date with the holiday weekend and  championship game but we wanted to get rolling. Please keep spreading the word--we definitely need tenors and basses! We have another fun-filled season ahead---we are back at the CAIN CTR on 4/23!!! (More news forthcoming on that!)

I am currently in Virginia where the winds are ramping up here in the mountains--going down to 9 degrees tonight plus wind chill!  Thankful to be inside with my mom, even if we are back at the hospital. After a very productive and positive week with home health care, she took a hard fall and fractured her pelvis! Surgery was successful and she is getting excellent care which is comforting. Long road ahead but we are putting plans in motion to best support both her and my dad. She has had some funny moments with me analyzing the pitch intervals of all things beeping. Once a musician, always a musician!  Please keep those positive prayers for quick healing coming our way!

Speaking of  and --I hope you're ready! It's coming and we have decided to be proactive and cancel rehearsal on Monday. We want to keep everyone safe and the projected temps and slippery roads are too risky at this point. Please be on the lookout for some recording links and other news as we prep for our first real rehearsal on Monday, Feb. 2 at 6:30. Rehearsal will be at CIC (Community in Christ Lutheran/Cornelius) due to a conflict at HUMC.

Please plan ahead for the storm and then just stay inside! No falls on slippery sidewalks!
