Hello to all! Feels odd to not be together tonight but also a nice break on this gorgeous evening! I hope you enjoy it as much as I am! Congrats on yet another outstanding performance yesterday at Huntersville Veterans Park! Our audience was smallish but appreciative, and included Huntersville Mayor Christy Clark, two Commissioners, and a rep from the Citizen so we will hopefully get some positive press from that. Sorry a few of you were feeling under the weather and weren't

CONGRATULATIONS! What a beautiful night! So honored and humbled by your performance last night. Everything was truly fantastic and meaningful to so many on both sides of the stage. The messages and kudos brought on happy tears this morning. One conversation last night: "Music is what keeps me going and YOUR singers and music makes me realize that I cannot live without it!"Another person said, "How great it was to celebrate America together---I couldn't stop singing along an

Happy Spring & Sunday Greetings! Hope everyone is enjoying the spring temps! I made a quick trip up to Virginia to help my dad prep for mom's discharge this week from the rehab center. He has elected to bring her home for a trial period with a full team of home health care. I am cautiously optimistic! Steve's mom is having a heart cath procedure this week to hopefully stabilize her issues. Of course this is all happening during a very busy week for me at Hough, so please send

Happy Sunday & pre-St. Paddy's Day greetings to you-all! March "madness" is upon me with all things NEWSIES--( houghtheater.com ---show opens 3/26). On Tuesday night, Steve got what we thought was food poisoning. Then, as I was packing the car to leave for Virginia Friday noon, I suddenly got sick, too! Not a fun weekend, but thankful for the weekend and the chance to recuperate, and definitely happy that I'm slowly getting my sea legs back! UPCOMING REHEARSALS : Stay tune

Hello to all! Apologies for this late email but I've been in a bit of a whirlwind since very early Friday morning when we heard that Steve's mom was being rushed to the hospital with chest pains. I was already planning to go up to Virginia afterschool Friday, but Steve and I headed up there early to be sure all was ok. Thankfully, we were able to welcome his mom back home Friday night and she seems to be back in a normal heart rhythm. My mom is hanging in there and it is hone

Hi there friends! It is MARCH already and it seems SPRING is in the air—or not! Hope y'all are enjoying the spring temps. Steve is out fishing today while I'm here in the pretty Shenandoah Valley. Our neighbors up here have some new lamb babies—way too darn cute! They are either sunbathing or running/tumbling down the hill. Just a reminder that REHEARSAL TRACKS can be found here : https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1KAcUTD02mYn0m8SPtDZDtpZYflns_m6H?usp=sharing Full reco

Late Sunday greetings to you-all. Sorry for the delay in posting a message to you this past week but it was a doozy. Many emotional ups and downs with various things at school. Then sadly on Friday, Steve and I had to say farewell to one of our kitties, Dixie who has been dealing with declining diabetes for almost 2 years. She was with me for 14 years and lost her sister in June. Now Roxie (15), the other sister is and will be Queen! In more positive news: 1) We had a product

Happy Belated Valentine's Day! Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend full of Olympics and warm fuzzies from friends and loved ones. Thought I would send just a quick note from Virginia this morning to say hi as I may not be back to my computer until Monday morning. As explained last week at rehearsal, we are now "subscribers" to Choral Tracks which is a great thing for NMCC. This will allow us to have better access for tracks and save us money and time down the road. Stay tu
