Noteworthy News 4/20

Happy FriYAY evening!

Just a quick note tonight as it has been a LONNNNG day and action packed week. My Show Choir kiddos are heading to the NCASA State Show Choir Competition near Raleigh tmw. Such worker bees as they have been working up their comp set with the theme, "From Shakespeare, with Love." It features a mash up of energetic songs/choreography which ties in with his three books Romeo & Juliet, Much Ado, and Hamlet. They are not live streaming the event, but I'll be able to share video afterwards. If you want to see their set live, save the date for my Hough Spring Chorus concert which is Thursday, 5/28. Thanks for sending them positive vibes and prayers tomorrow afternoon!

Meanwhile, lots going on behind the scenes for NMCC as we prep for our big week ahead! Shout-outs to our show committee---wow! Thank you! Everything is coming together nicely and I'm getting excited about what will undoubtedly be a spectacular and meaningful concert at the CAIN--still a few seats left, and we will have fun at the park on Sunday. Let's pray for no rain!

MUSIC & FOLDER: Please be sure you have your music in order whether using binder or IPAD.  Check that your markings are readable under the stage lights! (in pencil---hint---use erasable colored pencils!)  I have marked my requests for memorization (folders down) please.

PERFORMANCE ATTIRE REMINDER:  Please be sure you have your outfit all selected that meets our guidelines as previously stated. We will circulate ties/scarves Monday night. If you have questions about your outfit, feel free to bring it to rehearsal Sun or Mon.

SIGN UP SHEETS: Please make sure you have signed up for upcoming needs & events such as the pre-concert meal, Hello Huntersville, & Memorial Day
