Noteworthy News 9/27 and Take Note!
Hello friends!
Please excuse this email's late arrival. Being a caregiver and teaching full time---no joke! It was a very busy week for me after missing 3 days. I was very thankful for this weekend so I at least caught up on some sleep, but my awake hours have been very busy. Steve is doing ok---better than a week ago so there's that! He goes for his first post-op appointment with the surgeon tomorrow and hopefully gets a good report.

REHEARSAL is at the usual time tomorrow/Monday 9/28 at 6:30 PM at HUMC.
The first few minutes of rehearsal will be "Music Theory with Hugh" to help onboard everyone with some music theory fundamentals that will benefit our rehearsal process! Then we will dig in!
Please note we are NOT taking on any more new members at this time unless there is a specific circumstance as needed by me. If you have a question, please reach out to me directly.

The Town of Huntersville has invited us to participate once again in their Veterans Day celebration following the parade at 11AM on Saturday, 11/14. We will once again circulate the sign-up sheet for that and definitely need more singers! We are slated to sing National Anthem, Armed Services Medley, & either "God Bless America" (like last year) or "O America."
Tickets are on sale NOW for the Christmas Extravaganza performance on 11/29 with the Charlotte Civic Orchestra! Stay tuned for another sign up sheet for that, but please know that we need approximately 75 voices per our initial agreement with CCO and we need your help promoting the event! Since this is such a big show and invitation, this performance should NOT be considered optional. Thanks for committing to this opportunity!

Our December performance dates are 12/4, 5, and 12 in addition to 11/29. We are NOT singing for Christmas in Davidson this year.
