NMCC Noteworthy News 3/24

Good evening singers!

Apologies for the late email this week but it's what I call "March Musical Madness" time! For me this means the end of quarter grading time, tech rehearsals for our musical (runs 4/3-6), prepping for NYC trip, etc. My hubby and I just got home tonight from taking a break to see family in Virginia, and to celebrate my mother-in- law's 90th birthday! So great to get some mountain air and celebrate with family. 

Ready or not--another week is upon us!  So just a quick note to say I have nothing really pressing to report! We will have some more rehearsal tracks this week and an updated set list. Rehearsal tomorrow night we will spend a little sectional time on the sop/alto and tenor/bass featured songs--as well as work a few trouble spots on a few other songs. Keep up the great progress those rehearsal tracks are helping you with!

Thanks to messages from a few of you regarding your interest in various solo/small group opportunities. I'll post a message soon about next steps so stay tuned!

Lastly, we are still looking for singers for the Bailey's Glen & Memorial Day performances---those sign-up sheets will re-circulate at rehearsal as well.
