Noteworthy News 10/6

Happy fall to everyone! It's finally October! Hard to believe that 2 months from now we will already have the CAIN CTR behind us and catching our breath before our final holiday performances! WOW! With that said:

1) All music should be in folders this week (Thank you Kaleena & Lisa!)

2) Please bring your music, pencil, & water bottle to EVERY rehearsal

3) There will be a few pieces that will need to be memorized due to stage movement, lighting, kazoos/props, & overall stage presence. 

4) Please click below for access to the google folder for rehearsal tracks! There will be a few more coming!

5) Later this week we will share an updated calendar with you. Please note: the CAIN CTR is NOT an optional performance--we will need all singers to participate in the final dress rehearsal & performance on 12/3 unless there is an unfortunate illness or emergency.  Fingers crossed we will have 100%!

I once again apologize for this late email, but it seems I have yet to have a week without some kind of drama. Unfortunately, due to some unexpected issues Steve and I had to travel to Virginia on Thursday night, and every minute was packed. Without going into too much detail, please keep those prayers coming for my folks as they weather my mom's battle with Parkinson's/Alzheimer's. On the flip side of things, our families live just 30 mins apart, so we can see everyone in one swoop! I am grateful for SO much, especially being able to breathe in the cooler mountain air, watching the deer, ability to stream my Great Uncle's funeral from upstate New York, sharing the special bond of music with mom, and feeling/seeing signs of fall in the mountains!

Looking forward to seeing y'all back at HUMC tomorrow night, 10/6 6:30PM for regular rehearsal fun!
