Noteworthy News 9/29

Dear Friends:

Huge apologies for this late note from me as I thought my message went out before the weekend, but after hearing from a few of you, I realized that truly didn't happen! I LOVE technology when it works! 😆 This note has just been sitting in my drafts. Sorry!

At any rate---just wanted to share with you our current holiday song list so you can start listening to recordings. Please note, that these are just for learning purposes and not necessarily the BEST I could find. The ones with video, again, just for listening and working with...not necessarily the best performances! (Although some are very entertaining!) This week I will start giving you-all "cuts" in various songs so please bring pencils to rehearsal. I'll also add these to this list as we roll so the info is updated. I will also be sharing with you some rehearsal voice part tracks to assist with your learning process!

Also---we will have some sign up sheets going around for other things such as the Huntersville 🇺🇲Veterans Day event--Saturday, 11/8. These are not required but fun to do if you are available.

Just within the past 24 hours there were 2 more shootings--one of which occurred in one of my favorite little small towns in the US, Southport, NC. While it seems nowhere is "safe" anymore--we shouldn't just keep sitting by hoping it will end. As singers, let's use our voices to promote as much harmony as we can. We can be the carriers of peace and love that so many with troubled minds need. And we can also raise our voices louder to those in authority.
